Every request to join a plan includes a selfie taken live, in the app, at the moment of applying. There is no upload button and no camera roll, so the face you see is the face that shows up. Those photos go to private storage and are only visible to the person hosting the plan.
The person who posted the plan decides who joins. You can decline anyone without explanation, keep plans in public places, and bring a friend along — group plans are the default here for a reason.

- Is Party Intel a dating app?
- No. There is no swiping, no matching and no romantic framing. Plans are public, most are group-sized, and the point is to have somebody to do the thing with. People do make friends here, and some plans are two people, but the product is built around activities rather than profiles.

- Requests to join a plan are made with a live selfie taken in the moment, not a photo picked from a camera roll. The person who posted the plan sees that selfie and approves or declines. It filters out bots, recycled photos and anyone unwilling to show their face before meeting.
