Clubs

Dinner
A table booked with an open chair, or a group meeting at 8 before going anywhere. Often the easiest first plan to join.

A live selfie before the night starts
Nightlife is where verification matters most, so it's built into every request.
Applying to a plan requires a selfie captured live in the app. Nothing can be uploaded from a camera roll, which rules out recycled photos and fake accounts. The host of the plan reviews each request and approves or declines it before anyone can message.
Private afterparties go a step further: the exact address only unlocks once the host approves you, so no location leaks to people who were never invited.
Going out in LA — questions people ask
- How do I find people to go out with tonight in LA?
- Filter the Find People board to today and look at what is already posted — bars, clubs, dinners, shows, afterparties. Same-night plans go up all evening, so the board looks different at 6pm than it did at noon. If nothing fits, post your own with the neighborhood and the time you're heading out; same-day posts get the most responses.
- What time do people usually post going-out plans?
- Two waves. The first lands in the late afternoon from people locking in dinner and bars, the second between 9pm and midnight from groups deciding where to go next or who is coming to an afterparty. Weekends push both later.
- Can I go out with a group instead of meeting one person?
- Most going-out plans on Party Intel are group plans — the person posting is usually already going with one or two friends and has room for more. Group size is listed on the card, so you know whether you're joining a table of six or a pair heading to one bar.
- What's the difference between a plan and an afterparty?
- A plan is somebody's night out that you can ask to join: a bar, a club, a dinner, a show. An afterparty is a hosted private event on the Party Intel map with a location that stays approximate until the host approves your application. Both live in the same app; the going-out board is where the pre-game and the night itself get organized.
- Is this for hooking up?
- No. There is no swiping, no matching and no romantic intent baked into the product. Plans are public, groups are the norm, and hosts approve who joins. People who treat it otherwise get declined and reported.
